Lab Assistant/Technician – Quality Control
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant/Technician to join our Quality Control (QC) team in Franklinton, NC. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining consumable inventory, performing media preparation, and conducting microbial QC testing.
In This Role You’ll Make An Impact
Supporting daily lab operations: preparing media, washing glassware, and autoclaving.
Performing QC testing (microbiology plate‐based methods & qPCR).
Maintaining calibration audit readiness by performing calibrations and weekly maintenance of equipment.
Demonstrating initiative in quality, safety and environmental policies.
Organizing the lab to improve process workflows.
To Succeed You Must Have
Associate of Science degree or college‑level coursework in a related science, or a high school diploma with industrial laboratory experience.
Basic understanding of microbiology and production processes with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexible work schedule, including training period and regular schedule: Monday–Wednesday 1:00 pm–9:30 pm and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Pay Range US $40,000 – $50,000
