Overview
Job Title: Machine Operator I
Location: Greenville, WI
Duration: 9 months on W2 (Temp to Hire)
Shift: 3rd Shift - 9:30pm - 6:30am
Note: Role is related to material handling/packaging work on a press machine. The candidate will assist the machine operator by handling rolls, packaging, boxing, taping, and moving full boxes and pallets as needed. May not require prior machine experience. This is a special project that will last up to a year or longer, with potential to lead to a hire before the project ends.
Responsibilities
Operates basic finishing equipment and tools based on established processes and directions.
Follows work order instructions, performs quality checks, and adheres to productivity standards.
Develops understanding of tools and equipment used in routine machine operation under direct supervision.
Learns policies and procedures and applies them in routine activities.
Builds productive working relationships internally and resolves simple problems of limited complexity.
Complies with all required safety practices and regulations.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent vocational qualification.
Less than 1 year of experience.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle boxes of rolls.
Steel toe shoes required; safety glasses, ear plugs, and high visibility vests provided by the client.
