Pay & Benefits Pay range: $16.00 - $20.00/hr (actual may vary based on experience, skills and market). Shift Information Stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.
Responsibilities
Diagnose technical issues and perform routine inspections/maintenance.
Repair brakes, perform fluid flushes, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
Conduct system diagnostics and provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
Document all work performed on the repair order and report safety issues immediately.
Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Perform a variety of manual tasks, including light and heavy lifting.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians.
What We Consider
Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
Valid driver's license and age 18 or older.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Commitment to learning new technologies.
Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and make decisions.
Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
A.S.E. Certification.
Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
Electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition experience.
