Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
2025 at Dimmitt Chevrolet was the best year for Service in the company’s 101 years of business and we need you to help us break more records in 2026. Due to our growth we are expanding our Service Department adding 13 new bays and putting AIR CONDITIONING IN THE WHOLE BUILDING next year! If you are looking for a change in 2026 now is the time to do it. We are offering Sign on Bonuses/Relocation Expenses for technicians with GM Certifications. Amount based on amount of experience and GM Certifications. Pay: $85,000 - $120,000 / year based on experience.

Responsibilities
Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.
Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Document work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean.
Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
3+ years of GM Technician experience required.
ASE Certification required.
A-level Qualifications, Including Diagnostic, Electrical And Engine Repair
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
