Snapshot of Your Day Responsible for learning all operations of Stator Assembler B. Become familiar with all tools and equipment for generator final assembly.

How You’ll Make an Impact Be able to attain skills for rotor to core assembly, bearings, pedestals, and all other parts assembled on the generator.

What You Bring

High school education or equivalent.

Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.

Proficiency with shop tools – grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose optimal tool for the task.

Required to lift / move 50 lb. materials. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms with basic math skills.

Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing and vision tests. Must be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.

The Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required. Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests or any other as required to perform the duties.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
