Overview This regional service position requires regular travel to cities in and around Fayetteville. The candidate will work in M.C. Dean’s Service & National Accounts Group, supporting customers 24/7‑365 and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include electrical installations, servicing basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and codes, and resolving electrical problems safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, and components according to blueprints and building plans.

Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, and sensors.

Inspecting installation sites and reviewing work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine materials requirements and procedures.

Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity using test devices.

Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components with test equipment and hand tools.

Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of experience in the commercial electrical service industry.

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Reliable transportation.

Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.

Comfortable using smart devices and multiple web‑based applications.

Commitment to excellence and high‑quality work.

Experience wearing OSHA approved safety gear (boot length, protective shirt).

Reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and a safe work environment.

Successful completion of a background check and drug test.

Optional But Preferred

Journeyman's license or equivalent in the jurisdiction.

Other certifications such as Lift and Aeronautical Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30.

Abilities

Lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds regularly.

Relocating a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.

Working at heights up to 60 feet on scaffolds, aerial lifts, and ladders.

Performing tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead repeatedly.

Sufficient vision and hearing to perform tasks in English.

Using a standard ladder within weight limits while carrying tools.

Recognizing potential problems and applying general rules to specific situations.

Pay Range USD $28.00 – $46.00 per hour.
