Responsibilities
Accessions and manually process laboratory specimens with high accuracy and efficiency.
Support daily quality assurance activities and perform routine equipment maintenance.
Guide day‑to‑day workflow, assist with problem‑solving, and maintain smooth operational processes.
Participate in meetings with supervisors and managers, contribute to process improvements and future development initiatives, and provide training and performance feedback to team members.
Act as an extension of the leadership team, supporting operational excellence and team growth.
Shift: days, from 7:00 am—3:30 pm.
Key Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED.
Associate’s Degree (preferably in Science) and two years of laboratory processing experience.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Medical Laboratory Science can substitute for two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform specimen handling techniques and take measurements.
Ability to move about the designated work area and travel throughout the hospital campus.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Handles and transports bio‑hazardous materials.
Visual acuity with the ability to differentiate color, hue, saturation and tones.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as defined in the exposure control plan.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $22.85 Maximum hourly: $34.85

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
