Process Technician Nights 7pm to 7am – American Plastics, Kingman, AZ
American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic‑injection molded products for household, garage storage and commercial cleaning end‑markets. We are searching for a Process Technician for our Kingman, AZ location. This position will report to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality.
Understand and communicate information provided in the job packet, including specification sheets, standard routing, BOMs, scrap reports and quality requirements.
Identify all resins used in the molding operation, including regrind and associated usage percentages.
Operate the operator interface CRT screen on computer‑controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process.
Establish a new process, perform mold sets, robot programming, and start a machine based on settings in Mold Books/QR Code.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of hot runner systems, valve gates, and standard sprue molds.
Troubleshoot issues on injection‑molding machines and robots.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
