Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to follow safety and quality standards consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut various metals to specified dimensions and tolerances.
Program, set up, and adjust CNC equipment based on project requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Monitor machine operation to detect issues and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet design and tolerance requirements.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and communicate any production issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining or related field is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine operation issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a manufacturing environment.
