Jacksonville based, locally owned and operated civil engineering firms are seeking a Civil CAD Designer/ Engineering Technician. The work requires knowledge of civil engineering methods, techniques, and procedures, land development processes, and Autodesk Civil 3D experience. Must be familiar with common processes related to the civil engineering field.

Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
Knowledge in Civil design, land development, and/or utility projects.
Knowledge of water, sewer, paving, and drainage systems.
Be able to read, interpret, and compile Civil Engineering Design Plans for application to state, local, and federal agencies including the Florida Water Management Districts, FDOT and DEP under the direction of an engineering supervisor.
Knowledge in Pond Modeling (ADICPR, Ponds, etc.) preferred, not required
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of civil engineering methods, techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of computerized drafting and AutoCAD techniques (Civil 3D), Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and calculations.
Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to compose written correspondence.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, officials, and the general public.
