Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Traveling Service Technician to work primarily at home during weekends and holidays, ensuring that newly manufactured homes remain in excellent condition and customers stay satisfied.

Job Summary
Execute warranty work on sold homes per service work orders, managing parts, schedules, and customer interactions. The Home Service Technician is essential to maintaining a positive customer experience and ensuring homes remain in a new‑home condition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage work schedule and coordinate parts pickup from the factory.
Verify parts, install new parts, or repair issues per work order.
Maintain logbooks and comply with Department of Transportation requirements.
Maintain company vehicles and tools; keep them clean and serviced.
Perform carpentry tasks: trim work, roofing, window replacement, door realignment, drywall, siding, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and other home‑repair duties.
Replace or repair toilets, water heaters, light fixtures, door and cabinet hardware.
Return completed work orders to the factory.
Represent Champion Modular with a professional appearance and friendly attitude.
Demonstrate strong customer‑relations skills.
Qualifications
Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel).
Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and credit check.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
