Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary of $26.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience

4‑Day Work Week
4:00 pm–2:30 am
Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance
Normal setting: repair/maintenance shop at the Des Moines, IA hauling site
Responsibilities
Fix trucks and equipment that service over 20 million customers across the USA
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
Conduct safety checks on vehicles
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
Assist senior mechanics in completing project work
Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on driver vehicle inspection reports
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Over 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing

Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements
Operations in both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions with inclement weather, heat, and humidity
