Position Purpose Hendrickson is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of medium- and heavy‑duty mechanical, elastomeric, and air suspensions; integrated and non‑integrated axle systems; auxiliary lift axle systems; parabolic and multi‑leaf springs; stabilizers; and bumper and trim components to the global commercial transportation industry. Essential Functions
Troubleshooting industrial controls such as PLCs, servos, HMIs, motors, printers, cameras, etc.
Build electrical control panels for automated and semi‑automated equipment.
Modify or upgrade existing controls on equipment to improve process or meet requirements.
Program PLCs and HMIs.
Collaborate across multiple internal groups.
Support Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance in the assembly and building of equipment.
Maintain and update electrical drawings.
Work with outside vendors to procure equipment.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic circuit and wiring knowledge is required.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or related field. Junior or Senior preferred.
Must be able to work full time (40 hour weeks) for the Co‑Op term.
Effective oral, written, and PC skills mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
Basic programming and network knowledge is preferred.
Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
Physical Demands
Sitting for long periods of time.
Standing for long periods of time.
Environmental Conditions
Office environment.
Manufacturing environment.
