Responsibilities
Measure, mark, and write temperatures and reference points on material/work pieces
Select, align, and secure fixtures and stamp position numbers.
Calculate and set controls to regulate temperatures and pressures: speed, gas pressure, and part clearance, and enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit machine control programs.
Manufacture parts and components within the specified tolerances, with limited scrap and in time with the production schedule
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls as required
Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
May perform duties such as stenciling, cleaning, and assisting the operators in the building to ensure production runs smoothly.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to keep the operation running smoothly
Train new employees and cross-train in other areas.
Education & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Basic computer skills
High attention to detail
Ability to communicate and work safely in a team-oriented environment
Desired Characteristics

Ability to multi-task and respond quickly when needed
Ability to communicate and work safely in a team-oriented environment
Must have a great attitude and attendance record
