Description Are you an electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology student who wants to advance their technical and customer service skills? As an Electrical Engineer Co‑op, you will assist Senior Engineers in the creation of electrical schematics, BOMs, panel layouts, I/O lists as well as the selection of electrical components.

Skillsets and Experience you will Gain

Creating custom control panel layouts and bills of materials

Designing wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one‑line power distribution drawings

Creating and maintaining AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks and symbol libraries

Organizing and maintaining project drawings and technical documentation

Collaboration with in‑house panel builders

Requirements

Enrolled at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

Minimum GPA of 3.4

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Experience with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD Electrical)

Familiarity with motors, instrumentation, control circuits (on/off, latching, etc.), and electrical components

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have Skills

Familiarity with control panel heating/cooling requirements

Ability to create BOM from high level requirements

Ability to size power components (breakers, fuses, VFDs, Disconnects, etc.)

ITAR Requirements To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at DMC must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e., current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157‑1158.

Compensation Hourly rate is determined based on relevant experience, location and industry standards.
