in accordance applicable experience, ranging from $60,000 to $74,000 per year.

Position Overview As the
Technical Estimator
at RVI, your primary responsibility will be to provide the sales department with estimates and technical support.
Responsibilities
Prepare estimates by utilizing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Determine accuracy and completeness of information provided.
Maintain information in a structured and organized manner.
Identify labor, material, and time requirements.
Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Maintain accurate estimating tools and update as needed.
Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.
Continually update technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed for meeting and/or exceeding goals and strategies.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Ability to coordinate and work independently.
Knowledge of CAD software and/or other engineering software.
Experience with Zuken or similar electrical design software preferred.
Ability to meet critical timelines for responses.
Ability to communicate professionally and technically with client contacts.
High School Diploma or GED.
Associate's degree or two-year college or technical school.
2+ years of related experience.
Other Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
