Job Description Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set‑up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions

Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating electronics.

Work from drawings diagrams, customer specifications, schematics, and/or test procedures to diagnose and analyze problems using a variety of test equipment.

Document test findings.

Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment used to support RF testing/tuning.

Ensure correct functionality of units under test and test equipment.

Utilize methodical and logical reasoning processes to resolve complex technical issues.

Identify any discrepancies within testing.

Perform a variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products.

Able to transport up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills

AA Degree in electronics or equivalent technical degree.

Working knowledge of MS Office.

Good hand‑eye coordination for work under a microscope.

Working knowledge of electronic test equipment.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material.

Experience with environmental testing and monitoring of products.

Working knowledge of electronic theory relating to RF transmission, receiver circuits, analog and digital circuitry.

Ability to troubleshoot RF/Digital circuits to the component level.

Understanding and performing calibration of RF circuitry and equipment calibration procedures.

Advanced experience with test equipment, e.g., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipment.

Advanced ability to read and understand schematic diagrams to solve complex technical problems and analyze faulty circuits.

Electrical background at the component level.

Capability to identify problems and contribute to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process.

Knowledge of J‑STD‑00, IPC‑610, IPC‑620.
