Responsibilities
Learn to be a Piedmont Door Technician: Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
Take initiative: Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high‑expectation, low‑supervision environment to drive project success.
Learn and adapt: Embrace the opportunity to learn techniques from your trainer, building on existing skills and showing a desire to grow.
Maintain professional worksite: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail, taking pride in workmanship, and solving problems for customers.
Work with office staff: Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
Qualifications
License: Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Comfortable using power tools and hand tools – personally or professionally. Preference for having worked with carpentry, electric, military, HVAC, or similar.
Skills: Ability to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non‑climate‑controlled environment; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights/use a ladder.
Tests: Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required. COVID‑19, flu, and other vaccinations may be required.
Location Piedmont Door Solutions has businesses and role openings in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, NC; Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Lake Worth, FL; and Dallas and Houston, TX. Depending on which location you choose, you may have to drive up to 2 hours to job sites.
