Position Type: Full-Time / Hourly (Non-Exempt) Pay Range: $19.50 per hour + $2.50 shift differential Work Location: Onsite – Mundelein, IL 60060 Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM Key Responsibilities
Start up, operate, and shut down sorting machines in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. Observe machine operations to ensure the quality and efficiency of product sorting. Identify and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions to maintain optimal performance. Inspect sorted products to ensure they meet quality standards. Remove defective items and maintain consistent quality in sorted products. Package product into packaging cartons after the sorting process is complete. Accurately record production data, including the quantity of sorted products, machine malfunctions, and downtime. Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately. Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area). Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills / Competencies
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on product quality. Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications (Required)
Education: None Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with industrial sorting machinery. Physical Requirements
