What We’re Looking For in a Small Engine Mechanic: Having a valid driver’s license and being skilled in using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment is a plus. Required qualifications include:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in small engines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To excel in this role, you need to be detail‑oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
Your New Role as Small Engine Mechanic: Monday through Friday schedule 6:30 AM‑5:00 PM, regular hours and weekends off. Your responsibilities include maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment such as hydro mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers, walk‑behind blowers, chainsaws, edgers, material spreaders, snowplows, and related equipment. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, keep detailed maintenance records, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure safety compliance. You must pass a background check and drug screening test.
