Overview
EnSight Solutions, LLC is hiring for the Brake Press Operator - Class B role. Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr. Pay includes a $2.00/hr shift differential. Shift: Monday 1:30-11:30pm & Tuesday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am.
Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Operate brake press machines to perform bending, forming, and cutting of metal according to blueprints and work orders.
Material Handling: Load/unload metal sheets or parts, ensure proper alignment and positioning.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and conformity; adjust as needed.
Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication; report issues.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use PPE as required.
Documentation: Accurately record production data, including times, material usage, issues.
Team Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience :
Basic Mechanical Aptitude and understanding of brake press operations preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks; basic math for measuring and calculating dimensions preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities :
Must be dependable; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities; professional interaction with customers, co-workers, and others.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements :
Stand and walk for extended periods; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; communicate verbally.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements: close, distance, color, and depth perception.
