I-5 Auto Group is looking to add a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Window Tint Technician
to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing automotive window film, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering top-quality results every time.

Compensation
Flat-rate pay range:
$20.00 – $50.00 per hour , based on experience, skill level, and hours produced
Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and business needs, in accordance with Washington State law.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle windows for tint application by cleaning and prepping surfaces.
Cut and apply window film to automotive glass using pre-cut kits or hand-cut methods.
Use heat guns, squeegees, and specialized tools to install tint without bubbles or defects.
Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools.
Communicate with service writers or customers when necessary to clarify job expectations.
Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
Keep up-to-date with tint laws and regulations in your area.
Occasionally assist with paint protection film (PPF) or vinyl wrap installations (optional, based on experience).
Qualifications
1+ year experience in automotive window tinting (flat rate or commission-based preferred).
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with different types of film (ceramic, dyed, carbon, etc.).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to use hand tools and precision cutting instruments.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and climb in and out of vehicles repeatedly.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for precise tint installation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (tools, film rolls, equipment).
Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions (hot/cold/humid environments).
