Position performs warehouse tasks within a leading fire protection supplier, operating required equipment, and retrieving or stocking desired materials. The position requires knowledge of all shipping, receiving, and packing processes and standards set by the company.
The Injection Molding Operator will operate injection molding machine in order to shape plastics. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
Work Schedule 7 am – 7 pm
Responsibilities
Follows all instructions given by management.
Communicates any concerns, hazards, or potential problems to management.
Inspects area for proper tools, cleanliness, etc.
Inspects / separates fittings.
Puts runner in granulator.
Trims any "flash" from parts until problem is corrected.
Separates fittings into proper bins.
Checks bins on a regular basis to ensure parts are not mixed.
Knows location of emergency call switch, if applicable.
Knows location of emergency stop button and when to use it.
Inspects and cleans area and keeps debris picked up.
Keeps fittings out of the floor.
Sweeps regularly.
Notifies management of any oil /water leaks from the machine.
Wears clean gloves to keep dirt and hand oils off of parts.
Inspects core / adapter prior to loading.
Keeps machine on steady cycle.
Ensures proper labeling and bags are sealed correctly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma.
One year of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems.
