California Closets of Charleston, SC is looking to expand our team in the Installation department. If you have an aptitude for woodworking, a valid SCDL, a good driving record and are able to work independently, we would like to consider you for a position with our organization. We provide equipment and training, as well as a competitive pay scale for this outstanding opportunity.
The main responsibility of this position is to produce & install our products in a safe, efficient and effective manner, upholding the business & personal ethics along with the customer satisfaction levels that our clients have come to expect, and that California Closets has always stood for.

Monday through Thursday work week (some Fridays may be available)
Hours 7:00 a to 5:00 p (times may vary based on operational needs)

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a commitment to client satisfaction, customer service and excellence
Perform skilled and semi‑skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings
Utilize provided CAD drawings to install systems properly and efficiently
Assemble and install systems of varying complexity
Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes
Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order
Install systems independently or with team members
Partake in training programs as needed and as required
Provide a high level of customer service for in‑home installations
Maintain safety standards at all times
Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating company‑provided vehicles in a safe manner
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Experience with common hand and power tools
Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
Maintain a strong work ethic
Possess reliable transportation to and from our facility
Ability to pass background test
Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
Hourly Pay range:
$17.00 to $26.00 (range depends on experience, skill‑sets and fit for the position)
Performance Based Compensation:
varies based on productivity, efficiency & effectiveness
