Responsibilities
Set up and operate screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as a screw machinist or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
