Job Description Summary

Change molds as scheduled or required by breakdowns

Make necessary connections/disconnections needed for mold changes

Prep machine plates for mold set activity

Follow all set up instructions documented in the mold book

Ensure that mold carts, hose area, and all other mold setting areas are clean, stocked, and organized

Repair / inspect any electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed

Operate and understand all lifting devices and overhead crane for installation and removal of all mold tools

Document all mold change activity in the shopfloor reporting system

Document mold locations per each activity in the mold book

Follow all Safety and Production related procedures, i.e, cGMP, HAACP, ISO, SQF, OSHA

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills

Demonstrated focus and adherence to safety policies

Manufacturing experience, with mold setting strongly preferred

Problem Solving; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner/ gather and analyze information skillfully

Communication; ability to read and interpret written information and communicate with team members skillfully and routinely

Teamwork; contribute to building a positive team effort

Judgement; exhibit sound and accurate judgment/support and explain reasoning for decisions/include appropriate people in decision‑making process

Compensation The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $5,000 to $52,500; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $5,000 to $100,000 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
