What You’ll Get to Do
The
Machine Operator Lead
is focused on
leading Production
and reports to the
Production Manager . This role requires availability from 5 pm – 5 am. This role is perfect for an individual who
is safety conscious & self‑motivated, flexible with shift start and end time, and able to work in the climate conditions of the region . This is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Managing material flow, ensuring glass is allocated effectively to all work centers (glass always available in front of machines) Prioritize Hots for truck and backlog to ensure consistent, timely, and complete orders. Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues to Supervisor Overseeing movement of glass and finished goods, send glass to recut when not located Train Material Handlers and Machine Operators and serve as reliable mentor Move glass sheets from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks or wood crates Safely operate dollies, cranes, pallet jacks, glass cutters and other various equipment Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages Inspect product for any abnormalities and defects to notify supervisors Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhere to all safety regulations Perform other assignments as required by management What We Are Looking For
Elementary English: speak/read/write to communicate well and read basic paperwork/labels Ability to work OT as needed Ability to work flexible schedule (Monday to Friday and Saturday as needed) Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks Teamwork, collaborating effectively with other team members Problem solving, identifying and resolving minor issues that may arise. 4‑5 years in Industrial Manufacturing 2 years experience leading teams Position Pay Range $27.07 – $32.50 USD What OBE Offers You
