Advanced Workzone Services: Traffic Control Tech./ Road Construction Labor
The candidate will be doing any of the following (new hire will receive on‑the‑job training): setting and maintaining traffic control devices, set forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts and pouring concrete for sign foundations, erecting pipe and angle iron frameworks by bolting, welding or other means prior to installation of directional and informational signs that are normally prefabricated. Must work from plans in locating and drilling holes or hoisting signs into place, fastening signs to the framework by bolting or other means, and perform other work associated with signing projects (e.g.: delineators, striping, stripping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, detours, etc.), placing traffic control devices on or adjacent to the job site; maintaining devices in the proper location and operating condition; servicing and repairing equipment and devices.
Employees will need to be able to show up on time, have reasonable transportation to and from work, work outside during the heat, and be able to pick up at least 100 lbs. Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and possess a valid driver’s license. A CDL license could benefit the hourly wage. Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is recommended but not required. Traffic control technician or traffic control supervisor training is recommended but not required and can be provided during employment.
