Job Description We are seeking a skilled
Construction Technician
to join our rebuild and restoration team. This role focuses on residential reconstruction following property damage and requires a well‑rounded tradesperson with strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is dependable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working across multiple phases of interior construction.
Key Responsibilities
Install and repair cabinetry, including base and full‑height cabinets
Assess and repair subfloors as needed
Install flooring, including LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile (project dependent)
Perform trim and finish carpentry, including baseboards, casing, and door/window trim
Hang, tape, texture, and repair drywall
Prepare, prime, and paint interior surfaces
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Communicate effectively with Construction Manager and homeowners
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high‑quality standards
Qualifications
Proven experience in cabinet installation and finish carpentry
Strong working knowledge of subfloor repair and flooring installation
Experience with drywall installation, finishing, and interior painting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own basic hand tools (power tools a plus)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in insurance restoration or residential rebuild work
Ability to read and interpret scopes of work and basic construction plans
OSHA or other safety certifications (preferred, not required)
