Position Type: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Hours: M-F 8:00-4:30
Experience : If you've worked in automotive, diesel, aviation, military, construction, agricultural, or with heavy equipment, your skills transfer directly to this role. Forklifts and industrial equipment use the same fundamentals: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. In addition, many of our top technicians came from other mechanical fields and were trained into the industry.
Job Summary : Repair and perform Planned Maintenance on forklifts, industrial sweeper/scrubbers, scissor lifts and personnel carriers and other types of industrial equipment.
Essential Functions : Work independently in a safe, well‑organized shop environment, along with assisting other shop technicians with the supervision of a Shop Foreman and Service Manager. Technicians are assigned specific jobs that include evaluation and diagnosis, ordering necessary parts, and completing the job along with communicating the repair details on the electronic work order.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to identify complex mechanical problems and review related service information to develop a corrective action plan to complete the repair.
Able to occasionally lift (75 pounds) and work both inside and outside.
Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and other types of industrial equipment.
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers (verbally and in writing).
Capable of utilizing a laptop or tablet for completing work orders & checklists, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Basic computer knowledge for email and internet‑based e‑learning portal and accessing service information.
Technician must have basic tools required to complete repairs.
Qualified applicants must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check and have a driving record that meets the requirements of our insurance provider. The hiring process also includes a Mechanical Aptitude and Predictive Index assessment.
