Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on used vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Diagnose vehicle issues using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual inspection techniques.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and recommended services.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience as a vehicle service technician or mechanic, preferably with used cars.
Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are preferred.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate vehicles safely.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
