Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Health & Welfare Pay: $1,211 per month (per CBA) and it also offers Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, and Pension Plan per the collective bargaining agreement. Workday hours: 8:30am‑5:00pm.

LB&B Associates Inc. is currently accepting applications for a General Maintenance Worker at its contract to provide operation and maintenance services located at the Harrisonburg Federal Courthouse, Harrisonburg, VA.

Responsibilities

Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.

Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.

Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.

Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.

Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.

Hanging doors and installing locks.

Replacing broken windowpanes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Experience in commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems, including PMs, routine service calls, and overall facility maintenance highly desired.

High School Diploma/GED required.
