Delta World Tire is one of the area’s largest independent tire dealers, with over 30,000 tires in stock. In addition to tires, we offer complete quality automotive repair and preventative maintenance. Our ASE‑certified technicians provide services including alignments, brake repair, oil changes, battery replacements, shock and strut servicing, belt and hose changes, and air conditioning maintenance.
As a
General Service Technician , you will perform non‑technical service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and more. You will work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians and receive training to advance your career as a certified ASE Automotive Technician.
Compensation $13–$16 per hour, varies with experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
Operates the company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following company and state guidelines.
Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
Performs oil changes and other basic services under the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
Observes general vehicle condition during basic services and reports any obvious needed repairs or safety concerns.
Maintains cleanliness of the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and outside of the building.
Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

Qualifications
Previous automotive experience preferred; energetic, hard‑working individuals with a passion for cars will be considered.
High motivation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Availability to work Monday through Saturday.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, MVR, and criminal background check.
