Staffmark is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Springville, AL. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, can read blueprints, and are committed to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!
Pay: $20.78/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures
Set up welding equipment and adjust settings per job requirements
Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components
Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications
Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine safety checks
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Keep workstations clean and organized
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical instructions
Skilled in using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, weld gauges)
Familiarity with different metals and appropriate welding methods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification or technical training a plus
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
