Job Title
Mold Machine Operator – 2nd Shift at Atlas Roofing Corporation
Location Byron Center, MI
Primary Responsibilities
General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
Operate equipment such as the Pre-Expander, Mold, Lamination Line, Block – Auto Line, etc.
Verify equipment set-up prior to the start of a production run and operate and shut down manufacturing equipment.
Verify order information and produce parts with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards.
Train new employees.
Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions.
Obtain supervisor verification to sign off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within two months of hire.
Experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Proficient with basic math and hand‑held measuring tools.
Education & Certifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
