This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. The role is a fully proficient, support individual contributor working under limited supervision. The candidate will be a resource to others and will perform test and debug operations on a variety of LRU, circuit card assemblies, and components. The role reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for testing and debugging L3 products for delivery or repair.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist engineers in developing and maintaining test procedures.
Participate in root‑cause analysis of failures.
Debug components at the product level in test labs.
Contribute to development and maintenance of test bill‑of‑process and work instructions.
Participate in recurring engineering related test readiness reviews.
Assist in maintaining government/customer furnished equipment.
Manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor.
Assist with test machine maintenance and repair.
Participate in failure trend analysis.
Assist in out‑of‑tolerance reporting for test equipment.
Work daily in a lab environment.
Lift up to 32 lbs.
Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
0–3 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of RF and digital signals.
Basic knowledge of analog, digital, and RF circuitry.
Comfortable using PC‑based applications.
Familiarity with test equipment (RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, voltage meters, oscilloscopes).
Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
0–3 years of experience in RF and digital signals.
0–3 years experience with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
