Experienced A&P Mechanic – 2nd/6th Shift – Tampa, FL
Textron Aviation is hiring immediately for a full‑time A&P or AMT mechanic. This position offers up to a
$15,000 Sign‑On Bonus . The role is critical to our mission and located in Tampa, FL.
What you will be doing as an A&P Mechanic You will conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include:
Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customers.
Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run‑ups.
Maintain and document aircraft airframe, powerplant, avionics, and other systems.
What you need to be successful
High school education or GED required.
A&P License, or partial license with the ability to obtain full license within 6 months.
Experience as an A&P mechanic or mechanical repair of vehicles, or as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with varied jet, turboprop, piston, modification, or aircraft‑flight maintenance.
