Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, packaged units, VAV boxes, exhaust systems, and makeup air units.

Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues up to 480V (with guidance as needed).

Identify system deficiencies and recommend repairs or upgrades.

Assist with equipment startups and commissioning.

Work independently on routine service calls and PM routes.

Accurately complete service tickets and documentation in a timely manner.

Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA standards.

Participate in on‑call rotation as required.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience

Solid understanding of HVAC fundamentals and controls

EPA Universal Certification (required)

Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Dependable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented
