This is a
military technician
position with the 99t Readiness Division, Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 8 at Schenectady, New York.
Duties
Repair small weapons by replacing obsolete parts and/or assembles.
Analyze unit deficiencies to determine required organizational training.
Use hand tools to make repairs and adjustments.
List repairs on appropriate forms to indicate needed repairs.
Performs two level Preventative Maintenance Checks and Service (PMCS) to include periodic gauging.
Requirements
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic
This position requires a medical examination prior to employment.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR)
This position requires Secret clearance
This position requires a valid State Driver's license.
