Join our team in Orlando, FL, as a Lead Sterile Processing Technician.
Schedule Full-time, Night shift (United States of America).
Location 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803.
Job Description Responsibilities:
Serves as shift charge person in the absence of department leadership, prioritizing work to ensure instrumentation and equipment availability.
Ensures safe work practices for all employees, monitors staff use of PPE in decontamination area, and takes appropriate action in emergency situations.
Participates in new employee orientation, on-the-job training, in-service education, and facility process improvement initiatives.
Oversees and monitors supply and equipment inventory required for the department.
Rotates assignments among various areas within the department, including decontamination, surgical tray assembly, sterilization processes, and equipment management.
Qualifications Required:
Associate, High School Grad or Equivalent (Required).
Technical/Vocational School Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
