Job Description A Truck Assembler is responsible for completing the following duties:
Performing all necessary assembly routines before and after trucks and trailers are painted
Installing pre-fabricated parts on trucks and trailers
Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
Reading and interpreting blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures
Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly procedures
Installing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on tanker trucks and trailers
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong mechanical background or experience
Understanding of 12V electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to read 1/8", 1/16", gradations on tape measure
Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa
Familiarity with FCAW welding
