Proven proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
Must possess a personal set of hand tools required for diesel mechanic work.
Working knowledge of DOT regulations for commercial vehicles.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher is strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain one.
ASE certifications in heavy-duty truck repair are highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Vocational or technical degree in Diesel Technology is a plus.
