Position: Maintenance Tech 2 at
Tampa General Hospital
Overview Under general supervision of the Maintenance Project Manager, responsible for general maintenance repairs, related PM’s in a complex building campus. Tasks include finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs, minor electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, minor mechanical maintenance and other tasks related to building condition. Must perform duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance repairs and related preventative maintenance (PM) on a complex building campus.
Handle finish & trim, flooring and ceiling repairs, minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
Adhere to mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital in all job duties.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
Trade school or on-the-job training with a recognized service organization in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Boiler, Steam and Central Plant Operations.
3 years’ experience in Healthcare Maintenance preferred.
Location & Schedule
Location: Tampa, TGH Main Campus – On Site (no remote).
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Compensation Minimum salary: $20.16 per hour.
