Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Drywall Carpenter to join our dynamic team. As a Traveling Drywall Carpenter at Revels Contracting, Inc., you will be responsible for traveling to various job sites to perform drywall installation, finishing, and repairs. This role requires a high level of skill, precision, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in different environments. You will be a key part of our construction team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
Must live within 1 hour of the Gastonia, NC office.
Key Responsibilities
This job requires 100% travel during the week. You would typically, but not always, be home on weekends.
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications.
Tape and finish drywall joints, corners, and seams.
Perform repairs on damaged drywall surfaces.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Drywall Carpenter or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel frequently and work in different locations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must live within 1 hour of the Gastonia, NC office.
