Summary Join our team as a Feed Mill Loadout Operator! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As an Feed Mill Loadout Operator, you’ll work closely with drivers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Normal schedule is Monday through Friday and/or any required weekends and/or holidays; overtime may be required based on production needs.

This position has a base rate of $20.88 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To properly load delivery vehicles with the specified weights and types of feed as instructed by drivers and the panel operator, maneuver vehicles on the scale and in the yard as needed.

Collaborate closely with Feed Mill operations to guarantee efficient loading and unloading of feed.

Keep track of and communicate the status of deliveries, including any delays or issues.

Ensure accurate documentation of feed inventory, delivery schedules, and driver logs.

Weigh bulk feed ingredient trucks in and out, maintaining precise scale records.

This position also assists with receiving tasks, including unloading trucks and rail cars, among other responsibilities.

This role is also tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the scale house and other designated work areas as deemed necessary.

Minimum Education High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

6 months of steady work history in the last year.

Reading, writing and math skills required.

Ability to complete required documentation.

Ability to analyze and resolve problems at a functional level.

Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and a commitment to excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability, knowledge and commitment to put safety above everything else while achieving established goals.

Experience Preferred

1+ year of dispatch or logistics experience

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Forklift Experience

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Occasional exposure to outside environmental temperature conditions.

Significant amount of time spent in a stationary position making visual observations with occasional bending, stooping or climbing.

Able to lift 100 lbs.

Exposed to ingredient dust and high noise levels.

Must wear required personal protective equipment per Company policy.
