Primary Responsibilities
Perform review of sterilization documentation and release product to the next stage of shipping.
Follow up on sterilization process issues/findings with appropriate parties, support investigation and suggest corrective actions.
Initiate and/or respond to corrective and preventive action reports, document quality system failures and improvement activities.
Conduct routine product and process audits to assure compliance with the quality system.
Perform complete inspection of product according to applicable specifications.
Report issues to the Supervisor Sterilization Assurance.
Maintain internal documentation updates in SAP when applicable.
Document all inspections as required and update all reports and databases for reporting and tracking purposes.
Possess knowledge of Quality System Regulations and control charting defect trends in product quality.
Ensure sterilization associates are properly trained in documented inspection techniques, methods, and work instructions.
Trend quality metrics and take action to address problems and achieve departmental objectives.
Attend, actively participate in, and successfully complete training sessions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned, supporting site initiatives and internal or external audits as part of audit team members.
Additional Responsibilities
Support and act as lead point person for audit and/or change control on the laboratory, providing information in a timely manner with relevant system evidence.
Achieve safety, quality, and manufacturing/sterilization shared goals through successful delivery of key business objectives and metrics.

Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Debrief accidents and implement solutions to eliminate root causes.
Hold team members to safety standards, regulations, and policies.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED + 2 years of previous quality experience.
Additional certificates and/or a bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or a closely related field are welcome.
Experience with Quality SAP Everest.
Computer skills in Excel and Word.
High degree of discipline and attention to detail.
Proven organizational skills and ability to plan and organize work efficiently.
Good understanding of QSRs, GLPs, ISO, FDA guidelines, and other regulations.
Strong verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team, giving and receiving feedback.
Demonstrates personal drive, accountability, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Capable of solving problems, managing risks, and escalating issues as needed within established governance frameworks.
Ability to provide autonomous operational support and address questions/inquiries from plant associates.
Maintains professional working knowledge and key skills, staying current with updates.
Travel
Travel may be required for training and/or development purposes and based on business need.
