Description Mittera is currently seeking a Digital Press Operator – employees are appreciated and rewarded for the work they put in. Digital Operators are responsible for producing quality printed sheets, boards, or plastics, etc. They should understand the Digital Print process and can set up and operate all Digital Print equipment. The ideal candidate would have open availability to float between 1st & 2nd Shifts and on weekends.
Shift Availability 1st Shift Monday – Friday 7 AM – 3 PM 2nd Shift 3 PM – 11 PM

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Operate and troubleshoot multiple digital presses
Accurately interpret, document, and communicate diagnostic feedback from equipment and act upon information to resolve production, maintenance and repair issues
Perform color matching of supplied material
Read and understand job tickets and complete any necessary job paperwork
Command of technical vocabulary and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization as well as outside vendors and customers
Clean and maintain work area
Requirements Required Skills and Abilities
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1 – 3+ years of previous digital operator experience
Must be able to differentiate between colors and will be required to complete a color test
All equipment operations are controlled via computer interface. Position requires the ability to navigate through multiple computer screens quickly and efficiently
Computer software application experience in a prepress environment and experience in digital color control, color manipulation, and experience operating HP and other digital equipment a plus
Successful candidate must possess solid organizational and problem‑solving skills and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment with little or no supervision
Ability to prevent errors and solve problems on digital machine operations
Must be self‑motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented
Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must have the ability to work effectively in stressful situations and meet stringent deadlines
Perform all other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending
Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs
Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
Requires near visual acuity
Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
Work Environmental Factors While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to hazardous materials. A production employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
