Job Details
Position Type: Full‑Time, Hourly (Non‑Exempt)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM
Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
Shift Premium: +$2.00 per hour for 3rd Shift
Work Location: Onsite - 905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications
Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements through inspection and measurement
Perform minor troubleshooting and make routine equipment adjustments as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Maintain accurate documentation and production records
Keep work area clean and organized following 5S standards
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned to support team and production goals
Skills/Competencies
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
Strong communication and teamwork mindset
Basic computer and math skills
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
Demonstrated stable work history with minimal employment gaps
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Required to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending and stooping required.
Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
Must be able to work in noisy environments.
