Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive 2nd Shift Supervisor / Plastic Dip Mold Set-Up Technician to lead and support our production team. This position blends leadership with hands‑on technical responsibilities, managing dip‑molding equipment while driving production goals and maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys mentoring and collaborating with team members. Key Responsibilities

Oversee 2nd shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are met. Perform complete mechanical setups and adjustments of dip‑molding equipment, including molds, racks, ovens, and airflow systems. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to maintain equipment performance, product quality, and production efficiency. Conduct part measurements and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Assist in planning schedules, assignments, and production priorities to achieve daily goals. Provide on‑the‑job training, guidance, and support to team members, including break coverage and maintaining smooth production flow. Enforce safety regulations and proactively communicate any hazards or concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and 5S. Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values in daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements

Prior manufacturing experience required; mechanical setup and dip‑molding experience preferred. Strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to high‑quality performance. Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to supervise and mentor team members. Competence using calipers, gauges, and basic math for measurement and quality checks. Experience with ERP or production software is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally; stand or move throughout the shift. Skills & Abilities

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast‑paced environment. Good hand‑eye coordination, spatial awareness, and manual dexterity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments. Work Environment

Manufacturing floor with varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and occasional exposure to chemicals or fumes. Personal protective equipment provided to ensure a safe work environment. Seniority Level
