Responsibilities
Service commercial refrigeration equipment and systems such as walk‑in coolers, freezers, reach‑ins, etc.
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC; maintain refrigeration equipment.
Test lines, components, and connections for leaks.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Communicate with users to isolate problems and verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.
Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency, including filter changes and cleaning condenser/evaporator coils.
Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
Communicate with customers regarding status of repair or maintenance.
Order and install replacement parts as needed.
Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in any weather condition.
Universal EPA Certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass a pre‑employment background check and on‑site drug test.
Safe operation and maintenance of company‑provided vehicle.
Availability for after‑hours service.
Provide top‑quality customer service.
Experience in a commercial HVAC setting, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, and preventative maintenance is a bonus.
Must provide own tools such as basic hand tools, gauges, and power tools.
Company provided tools: ladders, vacuum pumps, re‑claimers, torch, nitrogen tank, leak detector.
